# Internal Link Finder

> A free internal linking tool that runs in the browser. Load your pages as a crawl CSV, a JSON list or pasted text; an on-device sentence-embedding model finds related pages, the sentence each link belongs in, and the anchor text. No API key, no credits, and page content never leaves the device.

Cost: free. No model credits, no sign-in needed. The only download is the embedding model (90 MB, cached by the browser).
Privacy: pages are parsed and embedded in the browser tab; nothing from them is sent to a server.

## Input

- CSV, one row per page, with URL, title and body text columns. Header names such as Address, URL, Title 1, H1, Content, Body or Text are detected; columns can be chosen by hand. Screaming Frog, Sitebulb and CMS exports work. Body text may be HTML; existing links are read from it.
- JSON: a list of objects with url, title and body (or content / text).
- Paste: pages separated by a line of three dashes; optional URL line and "Title:" line before each body.
- Up to 600 pages, 80 sentences per page.

## Method

- Model: all-MiniLM-L6-v2 (sentence-transformers, Apache-2.0, 384 dimensions), ONNX Runtime Web on WebGPU or WebAssembly, weights from models.skillsafe.ai, SHA-256 verified, self-checked against reference vectors.
- Page similarity: cosine between page vectors (sentence mean mixed with the title).
- Source sentence: the sentence on the source page closest to the target, favouring one that names the target's distinctive keywords.
- Anchor text: 1 to 6 word phrases in that sentence, scored by how well they describe the target compared with the target's nearest rival pages, plus keyword overlap. Labelled strong, fair or weak, with two alternatives.
- Limits applied instantly: similarity floor (default 0.40), links per source page (default 3), inbound per target, one link per sentence, skip pairs already linked, hide weak anchors.

## Output

- Suggested links: source URL and title, target URL and title, similarity, anchor text, anchor confidence, alternatives, source sentence, the sentence with the link as HTML, already-linked flag.
- Per-page view: most related pages, links to add on the page, links pointing to it.
- Coverage: pages with no suggested inbound link, and inbound counts per page.
- Exports: CSV, Markdown, JSON; copy one sentence with its link as HTML.
- Optional: signed-in users can save a plan (links and summary, not page text) to their SkillSafe account.

## Try it

"See an example" shows a precomputed plan for a fictional 14-page coffee blog with no download. "Load the example pages" then "Find links" runs the model on the same pages in your browser.
